Hello,

Easter is just around the corner, it's high time to send greeting cards. That is why I am coming to you today with inspiration for an Easter card.

Tym razem postawiłam na wiosenne połączenie żółtego i fioletu z dodatkiem odrobiny zieleni. Bazę ozdobiłam papierami scrapowymi, na które naniosłam dodatkowo fragmenty maski. Wzór przez maskę wykonałam za pomocą tuszu. Bardzo lubię ten efekt, gdy motyw maski odbity jest delikatnie, nierównomiernie naniesionym tuszem.

This time I focused on a spring combination of yellow and purple with the addition of a bit of green. I decorated the base with scrap papers, on which I additionally applied fragments of the mask. I made the pattern through the mask with ink. I really like this effect when the mask motif is reflected in a delicate, unevenly applied ink.

Kolejne warstwy papieru skleiłam na dystansie. W tym momencie zabrałam się za wykonanie głównej kompozycji. W głównym punkcie kartki znalazły się dwie warstwowe pisanki. Zanim skleiłam obie warstwy pisanek, podkleiłam dolne warstwy papierami scrapowymi, a górne pokolorowałam pasującymi tuszami. Następnie skleiłam warstwy tekturek. Pierwszą pisankę przykleiłam na płasko do bazy, natomiast drugą ummieściłam na dystansie , dzięki czemu obie tekturki nachodzą na siebie co daje efek głębi. 

I glued the next layers of paper together at a distance. At this point, I started making the main composition. There are two layered Easter eggs at the center of the page. Before gluing both layers of Easter eggs, I glued the lower layers with scrap papers and colored the upper ones with matching inks. Then I glued the layers of cardboard. I glued the first Easter egg flat to the base, while the second one was placed at a distance, thanks to which both cards overlap, which gives the effect of depth.

Wokół pisanek zbudowałam wiosenną kompozycję. Wykorzystałam tu sizal jako bazę głównej kompozycji. Na nim umieściłam ręcznie robione kwiaty z foamiranu. Dodałam kilka pasujących papierowych wycinanek, sznurki papierowe oraz liście. Jedne listki wykonałam na papierze scrapowym odbijając je zielonym tuszem. Drugie natomiast wykonałam techniką embossingu na kalce, przy pomocy zielonego pudru.

I built a spring composition around the Easter eggs. I used sisal as the basis for the main composition. On it, I placed hand-made flowers made of foamiran. I added some matching paper cutouts, paper strings and leaves. I made some leaves on scrap paper by reflecting them with green ink. I made the second one using the carbon paper embossing technique, with the help of green powder.

Na koniec dodałam napis Alleluja. Tekturkę pokolorowałam delikatnie tuszem i podkleiłam folią aby zabezpieczyć ją przed uszkodzeniem. Następnie delikatnie dokleiłam na kwiaty.

Finally, I added the word Hallelujah. I gently colored the cardboard with ink and stuck it with foil to protect it from damage. Then I gently stuck it on the flowers.
