Na naszym blogu Święta w pełni, i ja oczywiście też mam dla Was kilka inspiracji w temacie :-) Dzisiaj przynoszę Wam... zamaskowane kartki :-) Czyli kartki z tłem wykonanym przy pomocy masek - szablonów:

Christmas is in full bloom on our blog now, and of course I too have some inspiration projects for you in the subject :-) Today I bring you...masked Christmas cards :-) I mean, cards with the background made using masks - or stencils, if you prefer:

W pierwszej kartce śnieżynkowy wzór z maski naniosłam pastą modelującą, tworząc dodatkową teksturę. Na tak przygotowanym tle umieściłam shaker z motywem choinki embossowanej naszym najnowszym pudrem "Diamentowy pył" - to biały puder z mnóstwem migoczących drobinek, przepiękny! Idealnie nadaje się do zimowo-świątecznych prac. Dolną część shakera pokryłam brokatem w kleju - nie chciałam ryzykować, że topiący się puder zakryje grawerowany napis.

In the first card I applied the snowflakes stencil pattern with modeling paste which also added some texture. Upon that background I placed a shaker chipboard piece with the Christmas tree motif, embossed with our newest embossing powder "Diamond dust" - it's white powder with plenty of glittering sparkles, just gorgeous! It's perfect for winter and Christmas projects. I covered the lwoer part of the shaker with glitter glue - I didn't want to risk that melting powder would cover the sentiment.

Shaker ozdobiłam poinsecją z foamiranu, dodając stemplowane na kalce i embossowane na biało listki:

I decorated the shaker with a foamiran poinsettia, adding some leaves stamped on vellum and embossed with white ep:

W drugiej kartce wzór z najnowszej maski naniosłam dwoma kolorami tuszu, tworząc przy tym efekt ombre. 

In the other card I applied the pattern of our newest stencil with two colours of inks, creating laso an ombre effect

Przyznam, że nieco ciężko było tuszować wąskie fragmenty przy środku wzoru, ale efekt końcowy bardzo mi się spodobał :-) Zresztą wszelkie niedociągnięcia zasłania olejny shaker, tym razem z motywem samochodu z choinką, który embossowałam mieszanką białego i złotego pudru, co nawiązuje do wzoru bazowego kartonu:

I must admit it was a bit hard to ink those narrow fragments towards the centre of the stencil, but the final result is very satisfying :-) Anyway, any mishaps are covered with another shaker chipboard piece, this time in the shape of a car with a Christmas tree which  I embossed with a mix of the white and gold powders, referring to the look of the bacgkround cardstock:

Podobnie jak w pierwszej kartce, shaker ozdobiłam kompozycją kwiatową ze stemplowanymi listkami:

Just like in the first card I decorated the shaker piece with the flower cluster and stamped leaves:
