Styczeń z Dniem Babci i Dziadka za nami, a w lutym świętujemy Dzień Zakochanych, w którym kartki zwane walentynkami odgrywają dużą rolę :-) Dzisiaj więc przynoszę Wam inspirację w tej kwestii:
January, with Grandma and Grandpa Days is over, and February brings St. Valentine's Day in which cards play an important role :-) And so today I'm sharing some inspiration on the matter:
Głównym motywem moich walentynek w wersji dla niej i dla niego jest przestrzenne geometryczne serce z tekturki. Świetnie sprawdzi się jako trójwymiarowa ozdoba, w której wnętrze można wkomponować inne elementy, ja jednak postanowiłam zrobić z niego shaker box. Zamiast tradycyjnej w shakerach foliowej "szybki" użyłam kalki technicznej, którą znacznie łatwiej przykleić do cienkiej krawędzi i daje ciekawy efekt stłumienia blasku wypełniających shaker cekinów:
The main motif of my cards for him and for her is the chipboard dimensional geometric heart. It can make a great 3D embellishment as you can include some other elements inside, but I decided to make a shaker box with it. However, instead of a traditional foil "glass pane" I used vellum which is much easier to attach to the thin edge of the piece and gives an interesting effect of muting the sequins glimmer:

I also used stamped sentiments of the same "handwriting" style:
Poza tymi elementami wspólnymi kartki różnią się kolorystyką i stylistyką - kwiaty i koronka dla niej, metalowe ozdoby i wytłaczane "blaszane" tło dla niego :-)
Apart from those same elements the cards differ by colours and style - flowers and lace for her, metal embellishments and embossed "tin" background for him :-)
