Wraz z nadejściem lata tradycyjnie już zwiększa się zapotrzebowanie na kartki i pamiątki ślubne :) Dzisiaj przynoszę Wam kartkę w tropikalnym klimacie, którą można wręczyć z okazji letniego ślubu:
As the summer has set in, there's more and more demand for wedding cards and souvenirs :) And so today I bring you a tropical-themed card that can be given on the occasion of a summer wedding:
Chociaż często tworzę kartki na zasadzie "jak wyjdzie", tym razem jednak miałam pomysł, który wymagał określonej kolejności tworzenia. Najpierw bowiem ułożyłam wszystkie elementy bez klejenia, by określić położenie zwłaszcza wyciętych z papieru bukietów, a następnie dodałam na bazowym papierze stemplowane listki, które te bukiety miały uzupełniać. Dopiero potem mogłam dodać kolejne elementy: embossowane filigranowe serce z tekturki, motywy z papieru i kwiaty.
Although I very often create following the "let's see how it turns out" rule, this time I had an idea that required some specific order of work. First I laid out all the elements withough attaching them to define their position, especially of the cut-out flower bouquets, and then I added some stamped leaves on the background paper so that they complete the flowers. And only then I glued all the other elements: an embossed filigree chipboard heart, paper cut-out and flowers.
Bezpośrednio na papierze odbiłam też napis. Zamiast tradycyjnego "W dniu ślubu" wybrałam "Na zawsze", dzięki czemu kartka nadaje się również na Walentynki albo miłosną deklarację w dowolnym czasie ;))
I also stamped my sentiment directly onto the paper. Instead of the usual "On your wedding day" I chose "Forever", which makes the card more universal, suitable also for Valentines Day or any other day to declare your love ;))
